Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Operating Room with 2+ years of OR nursing experience and Epic proficiency for a weekend day shift schedule.

Details

• Surgical Services unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Shift: 6:30a-7p Friday through Sunday
• One on-call shift required from 7p-11p on Friday nights
• 36 hours per week over 3 twelve-hour shifts

Requirements

• Active KY RN license or compact license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required

Additional Information

• Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating patient plans of care
• Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff and functions as a mentor/preceptor
• Participates in a Practice Governance model and quality/safety improvement efforts
• Facilitates patient and family education throughout care and at discharge
