Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Operating Room position requiring 5+ years of experience in a Level 1 trauma academic medical center setting.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room unit of a hospital
• 12-hour rotating evening/night shifts, 1430-0300
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Scrub and circulate duties, though circulate-only candidates will be considered
• Day shift staff should be prepared to support ortho (joint and trauma), neuro (crani and spine), plastics/burn, gen/trauma, colorectal, surgical oncology, gyn, gyn oncology, urology, robotics, CV, thoracic, vascular, and transplant cases
• Evening/night and weekend staff should be prepared to support all service lines including pediatrics and eyes
• No floating or charge responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active RN license (FL or Compact) currently in hand
• 5+ years of Operating Room experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Academic medical center experience required
• Surgery center experience does not count toward required years of experience

Additional Information

• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a wide variety of surgical specialties
• Level 1 trauma academic medical center environment
