Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Operating Room position requiring 5+ years of experience at a Level 1 trauma academic medical center with an active FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room unit of a Level 1 trauma academic medical center
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week, 6:30pm-7:00am
• Off-shift (evenings, nights, weekends) applicants should be experienced in all service lines including pediatrics and eyes
• Scrub/circulate role, though circulate-only candidates will also be considered
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• 5+ years of Operating Room experience preferred due to hospital-wide floating expectations
• Level 1 trauma and academic medical center experience required
• Surgery center experience does not count toward required years of experience
• Day shift applicants should be well-rounded across service lines including ortho (joint and trauma), neuro (crani and spine), plastics/burn, gen/trauma, colorectal, surgical oncology, gyn, gyn oncology, urology, robotics, CV, thoracic, vascular, and transplant

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties
• Trauma Level, EMR, and bed count information must be included for consideration
• No unexplained work history gaps exceeding 30 days
