Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a rotating evening/night shift position at a Level 1 trauma academic medical center, requiring 5+ years of relevant experience.

Details

• Operating Room unit within a Level 1 trauma, academic medical center
• Scrub/circulate role, though circulate-only applicants will also be considered
• 12-hour rotating evening/night shifts, 1430-0300, 36 hours per week
• Evening/night/weekend applicants should be well-rounded across all service lines including pediatrics and eyes
• Day shift applicants should be prepared to support ortho (joint and trauma), neuro (crani and spine), plastics/burn, gen/trauma, colorectal, surgical oncology, gyn, gyn oncology, urology, robotics, CV, thoracic, vascular, and transplant cases

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license
• 5+ years of OR nursing experience preferred due to hospital-wide floating expectations
• Level 1 trauma and academic medical center experience required
• Surgery center experience does not count toward required years of experience
• Experience with a broad range of surgical service lines

Additional Information

• Role involves scrub and/or circulate responsibilities in the OR
• No previous travel experience required, so first-time travelers may be considered
