Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Night Shift Operating Room position at a Level 1 trauma and academic medical center, requiring 5+ years of OR experience.

Details

• Work in the 6K Operating Room unit
• 12-hour night shift, 36 hours per week, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Scrub and circulate duties required, though circulate-only candidates will also be considered
• Off-shift (evenings, nights, weekends) coverage includes all service lines, including pediatrics and eyes
• Day shift role requires readiness across multiple specialties: ortho (joint and trauma), neuro (crani and spine), plastics/burn, gen/trauma, colorectal, surgical oncology, gyn, gyn oncology, urology, robotics, CV, thoracic, vascular, and transplant

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• 5+ years of Operating Room experience preferred
• Level 1 trauma center and academic medical center experience required
• Surgery center experience does not count toward required years of experience

• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
