Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with at least 5 years of OR experience and an active NC or compact RN license for a 13-week assignment.

Details

  • Operating Room unit providing pre-, intra-, and post-operative surgical patient care
  • 1:1 patient ratio
  • Day shift schedule of four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with arrival at 6:45am for huddle and shift running 7:00am to 5:00pm
  • Rotating weeknight and weekend call required
  • Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Experience preferred across general, orthopedic, urology, GYN, C-section, ophthalmology, vascular, dental, and ENT surgical services

Requirements

  • Active NC or compact RN license required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • PALS certification preferred
  • CNOR certification a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of OR experience required
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Current Nursys report dated within the past 7 days required for consideration
  • Active license and all required certifications must be in hand prior to consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide comprehensive surgical nursing care as part of the OR team across multiple specialty services
  • Travel experience preferred but not required
  • Candidates will be reviewed and interviewed by the hiring manager
  • RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration to be honored if an offer is extended
  • Candidates must disclose if they are a former employee of the health system
  • Not accepting candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility
