Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a KY or compact RN license and prior EPIC experience.

Details

• Surgical Services department within a hospital setting
• Shift hours 06:00-16:30 with on-call requirement of 25-30 hours per 6-week schedule
• 36 hours per week across 3 days, 12-hour shifts
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active KY RN license or compact license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum two years of acute care RN experience required
• Minimum two years of EPIC EMR experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required

Additional Information

• Perform patient assessments, care planning, and evaluation of clinical interventions in the OR setting
• Provide patient and family education related to surgical care, treatment, and discharge
• Mentor and precept licensed and non-licensed staff members
• Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives
• Comply with regulatory standards and Practice Governance model
