Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Santa Rosa, CA 95405

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Santa Rosa, California

Schedule: Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), with variable start times at 7:00 AM or 9:00 AM. Weekend coverage required. On-call shifts distributed equally among nursing staff every 6 weeks (up to 6-8 shifts per 6-week period, including nights, evenings, and weekends). May need to cover one night shift within contract as needed.

Highlights:

• 277-bed acute care hospital with Level I Trauma designation
• Comprehensive OR experience with trauma, neuro, vascular, orthopedic, general, plastics, ENT, GYN, and robotic surgery
• Daily census of approximately 25 cases across diverse surgical specialties
• Epic charting system with 40 hours of paid orientation
• Free parking and interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Opportunity to work with advanced surgical technology including Da Vinci Xi Surgical System

Requirements:

• Valid California RN license in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2-3 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required with demonstrated competency in trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic procedures
• Epic charting system experience required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with a wide range of surgical procedures including laparoscopic, robotic, orthopedic/spine, vascular, and trauma cases
• Willingness to float between like units and affiliated facilities as needed
• Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
