RN Circulator (Surgery)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Call required once per week and every fourth weekend. Holidays may be included.

Job Description

The RN Circulator will provide high-quality surgical care, ensuring patient safety and effective communication within the surgical team. Responsibilities include coordinating the surgical environment, managing patient data, and facilitating the flow of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and assist with surgical procedures.
• Ensure that all necessary instruments and supplies are available for the surgical team.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records during surgery.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare team members.
• Monitor patient safety and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN Circulator in a surgical setting.
• Valid state nursing license required at the time of submission.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
