Join a leading healthcare provider as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Seattle, WA. We are looking for skilled RNs with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care in the Operating Room (OR) setting. This is a travel contract position ideal for those seeking to expand their experience in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate in various surgical procedures including General Surgery, GYN, Urology, and more.
• Administer blood and blood products, perform cardioversion/defibrillation, and manage cooling/warming blankets.
• Utilize drains, syringe pumps, and wound vacs effectively.
• Work with both inpatient (40%) and outpatient (60%) OR cases, including pediatric patients (20%).
• Participate in call requirements for ambulatory surgery, including 2 weekdays and 1 weekend call on a 6-week schedule.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience as an Operating Room RN.
• First-time travelers are accepted with relevant experience.
• Must possess BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Pediatric experience is required.
• Active compact license is honored.

This position requires flexibility, as shifts may vary. Call hours are Monday to Thursday from 5 PM to 9 PM, Friday from 5 PM to 11 PM, and Saturday from 7 AM to 7 PM, with no Sunday call hours. A 30-minute travel time for call back or stay over at the end of the shift is expected.
