Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR Circulating RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring scrub experience and a FL or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a 12-suite Operating Room department at an acute care hospital
- Patient ratio of 1 to 1
- Procedures performed include Ortho, GYN, General, Vascular, Neuro, ENT, and robotic cases for adults and pediatrics
- Supported by circulators, surgical techs, and orderlies
- Uses Meditech documentation system
- Shift runs 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM on a rotating schedule
- On-call required on both weekdays and weekends
- No floating required
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required
- OR Circulating experience required across most services, excluding transplants, hearts, and eyes
- Scrub experience required
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Two professional references required for Florida assignments
Additional Information
- Provide circulating RN support across a wide range of surgical specialties including robotic cases
- Must be patient-focused and friendly to support a positive patient experience
- Hospital provides scrubs
- Work alongside experienced, collaborative surgeons in a fast-paced OR environment
- Travelers are treated as full-time team members
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
