Join our team as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Operating Room (OR) at a leading healthcare facility in Lufkin, TX. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will play a crucial role in patient care during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage sterile and non-sterile environments of the OR.
• Coordinate patient care, safety, and workflow across the entire perioperative period.
• Circulate during surgical procedures.
• Preferred scrub and first assist experience.
• Confident circulator abilities covering General, Orthopedic, Robotic, Urological, OB/GYN, Podiatry, ENT, and Plastics.

Requirements:

• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required.
• 2+ years of dedicated surgical experience.
• Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from the facility.
• Must include permanent home address on submission.
• No floating RTO request with sub; no block requirements.
• Call: 2 days a week as 1st or backup and one weekend per month (Weekend call is FRI, SAT, SUN).

Scrubs will be provided by the hospital (green), and the facility has 8 regular beds, 2 cysto beds, 1 endo bed, and 2 C-section beds. The EMR system used is PICIS.
