Travel Surgical Technologist – OR

Department: Operating Room (OR) – Ground Floor
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Weekend/Call: Late coverage/call every other week
EMR: Meditech

Required Qualifications

• CST certification – Required
• BLS – Required
• Strong OR/Surgical Technologist experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal orientation

Required Clinical Experience

Candidates must have experience with:

• Orthopedic surgery, including total joint replacements
• ENT
• General surgery
• Urology/GYN
• Surgical identification and setup
• Sterile technique and aseptic practices
• Surgical counts
• Specimen handling
• Surgical site preparation and draping
• Medication handling on the sterile field
• Troubleshooting sterile-field contamination
• Fast room turnover
