• Shift Times: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Weekend Coverage: 3 weekends per 6 weeks
• Call: No call required
• Charting System: Cerner
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890 - $1,990

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, with the ability to obtain or have pending licensure by the start date
• 2 years of operating room nursing experience required
• Circulating nurse experience required
• BLS certification required
• Previous charge nurse experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Cerner experience preferred
• Travel nurse experience preferred; first-time travelers may be considered
• Comfort working with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Ability to work scheduled weekends and remain flexible with assignment needs

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled circulating support in the operating room
• Prepare the OR for surgical cases and ensure equipment, supplies, and sterile technique are maintained
• Support a broad mix of surgical procedures in a collaborative, high-acuity perioperative environment
• Monitor patient safety and respond quickly to changing intraoperative needs
• Work closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the perioperative team to promote efficient case flow
• Accurately document care in Cerner and maintain clear communication throughout the shift
• Follow unit protocols, professional standards, and safety practices at all times
• Contribute to a positive team culture while delivering high-quality patient care
