Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a hospital surgery department requiring at least 2 years of recent OR experience and GA or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in the Surgery department in an Operating Room RN role
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week, with schedule varying between 6:30A-7P
• Deferred scheduling type with on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the OR specialty required

Additional Information

• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Returning staff previously employed permanently at the facility must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
• RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested afterward
