Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with circulator experience across specialties including Spine, Total Joints, Plastics, ENT, and DaVinci robotics, requiring a CA RN license.
Details
- Operating Room setting on a day shift schedule (3x12 hours, 6:45am-7:15pm)
- Circulator role covering Spine, Total Joints, Plastics, ENT, and DaVinci robotic cases
- Call requirement of two 5-hour call shifts per week plus two 12-hour weekend shifts per 8 weeks
- Uses EPIC EMR system
Requirements
- Active CA RN license in hand at time of consideration (Temp or Perm, no EMSA)
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of concurrent experience in the OR specialty
- 1.5 years continuous experience in specialty with no breaks unless floating or meeting equivalent ratio experience
- 1 year total travel experience required, plus 6+ months of continuous travel experience immediately preceding consideration
- EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months required
- 1 supervisory-level professional reference required
- Valid, non-pending copies of all required certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform circulating RN duties across a range of surgical specialties including spine, total joints, plastics, ENT, and robotic (DaVinci) procedures
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
- Previous employees (permanent staff or travelers) must wait 1 year before returning to this facility
- Maximum 7 days of RTO permitted, with no additional requests after consideration
- No candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are eligible, except LVNs/MAs
- Candidates on assignment in San Diego for 9+ months or more are considered local and are not eligible
- Interview availability required, including time zone, ideally same day and within the next 3 business days
