Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room Circulator position requiring 1-2 years of OR experience and an active AZ or compact RN license.

Details

• Community hospital and regional referral center with 171 beds, Joint Commission accredited and designated Level III Trauma and Certified Chest Pain Center
• Operating Room unit handling 10 to 25 cases per day including total joints (MAKO robotics knees and hips), spine, ortho, neuro, craniotomies, robotics, OB/GYN, podiatry, urology, general surgery and plastics
• Uses XI DaVinci robotic surgical equipment and Meditech EHR
• Day shift from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with every other weekend required
• Weekend coverage provided by a call team consisting of an RN, CSTFA, and CST
• Call requirements vary based on staffing levels (e.g., approximately 3 call days per month with 10 staff)
• May be required to float within a 25 mile radius of the facility

Requirements

• Active RN license (AZ or Compact) required
• 1-2 years of OR circulator experience required
• AHA certifications required
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Circulate for a high-volume surgical service line including total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements, neuro and ortho spine procedures, and robotic surgeries
• On-call responsibilities may include weekend procedures such as XLIF surgeries or emergency total hip cases
• Located in Lake Havasu City, AZ, offering outdoor recreation, local dining, and scenic mountain and lake views, with proximity to Las Vegas, Phoenix, and the Grand Canyon
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for travel rate consideration
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates must not be employed elsewhere full-time
