Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a 12-hour day shift position requiring recent OR specialty experience and the ability to scrub and circulate.

Details

• Surgery/General OR department (GMCD - RN OR)
• Schedule of 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week, varying start times of 6:45am-7:15pm
• Specialties include ortho, bariatric, general, and plastics surgery
• Requires ability to both scrub and circulate
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience within the OR specialty required

Additional Information

• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
• Previous permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in service
• RTO must be requested upfront at time of submission and cannot be requested after an offer is made
