Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with recent specialty experience in ortho, bariatric, general, and plastics surgery who can scrub and circulate.

Details

• Surgery department position within an Operating Room unit
• Case types include ortho, bariatric, general, and plastics surgery
• Required to both scrub and circulate for procedures
• 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week, varied schedule between 6:45am-7:15pm
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience within the OR specialty required

Additional Information

• Perform circulating and scrub nurse duties across multiple surgical specialties
• Holiday coverage required for 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• Former staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in service since last employment
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested afterward
