American Traveler is hiring an Operating Room RN with 2+ years of experience and a South Carolina or compact RN license for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment.

Details

Acute care hospital with 119 staffed beds
Operating Room unit performing a wide range of surgical procedures including gynecology, orthopedic, general surgery, neurology, urology, podiatry, and trauma cases
Utilizes Da Vinci Xi Surgical System and Hana Table equipment
Uses Epic for charting
Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (6:45am - 3:15pm)
Weekend requirements typically every 4th weekend depending on staffing needs
On-call requirement for weekday call (3pm-7am) per rotation with staff
Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including sister facilities

Requirements

Active SC RN license or Compact RN license required in hand prior to start
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required
Previous travel nursing experience required

Additional Information

Surgical scrubs provided by facility
Must be prepared for potential emergency response team assignment during hurricane season (June through November)
Free parking available on-site
Previous MUSC staff (including PRN) must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Candidates residing within 60 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Non-local candidates are prioritized for this position
