Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Olympia, WA 98506

Start Date: October 6, 2026

Location: Olympia, Washington

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, Day shift (09:00 - 21:30). 13-week assignment with 40 hours of orientation.

Highlights:

• Short-term acute care facility with 325 staffed beds utilizing EPIC charting system
• Comprehensive surgical services including general, orthopedic, thoracic, ENT, urology, and trauma procedures
• Scrub experience required across multiple surgical specialties
• Trauma Level II facility experience preferred; community hospital experience required
• One pre-approved time off request available during contract period
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Trauma Level II experience required; community hospital experience required
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Extensive scrub experience required in general surgery, orthopedic, thoracic, ENT, urology, and trauma procedures
• Proficiency in laparoscopic procedures, arthroscopy, joint replacement, spinal fusion, and various surgical specialties
• Knowledge of fire safety, laser safety, radiation safety, infection control, and specimen handling protocols
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
• Clean background check required (no exceptions for background discrepancies)
