Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Operating Room – Olympia, WA 98506
Start Date: October 6, 2026
Location: Olympia, Washington
Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, Days (06:30 - 17:00), 40 hours of orientation provided
Highlights:
- 13-week travel assignment at a 325-bed short-term acute care facility
- General surgical operating room with diverse case mix including thoracic, ENT, orthopedic, urologic, and trauma procedures
- Epic charting system utilized for documentation
- Scrub experience required across multiple surgical specialties
- Trauma Level II facility experience preferred
- One pre-approved time off request available during contract period
Requirements:
- Active Registered Nurse license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience required
- Community hospital experience required; Trauma Level II experience preferred
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Extensive scrub experience required across general surgery, orthopedic, thoracic, ENT, urology, and trauma procedures
- Proficiency in laparoscopic and arthroscopic procedures, wound management, specimen handling, laser safety, and administration of blood products
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Clean background check required (no exceptions for background findings)
- Willingness to float to sister facilities if needed and commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays during assignment
