Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a MT or compact RN license and prior specialty experience.

Details

• Operating Room unit within a hospital setting
• Variable 8-hour shifts, 3 days per week, totaling 30 hours weekly
• Must be available to work Christmas
• Uses Epic charting system
• May be required to float to other departments based on business need within scope of competency
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required and must not expire prior to start
• ACLS/NRP/PALS certification as appropriate for the unit or service
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the Operating Room specialty required
• Epic charting experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for surgical patients
• Provides health teaching, counseling, and therapy supportive to patient recovery
• Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the health system and adheres to service behavior standards
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
