Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Circulator for an Operating Room assignment requiring compact or OK RN licensure and prior OR circulating experience.

Details

  • Operating Room unit functioning as a surgery circulator
  • 13-week assignment with a shift schedule of 06:30-19:00
  • Must be available for call and work holidays as needed

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Compact or OK) required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address

Additional Information

  • Provides direct nursing care as an OR circulator, coordinating care across disciplines
  • Implements and monitors patient care plans, communicating patient status as needed
  • Assesses discharge planning needs in coordination with the healthcare team
  • Requires strong critical thinking and decisive judgment with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work effectively in a high-stress environment
  • Follows standard precautions using appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
