Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Circulator for the Operating Room, requiring a compact or OK RN license and prior OR circulating experience.

Details

  • Operating Room unit, working as a surgery circulator
  • 13-week assignment with scheduled shift from 06:30 to 19:00
  • Must be available to take call and work holidays as needed

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Compact or OK) required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA) required
  • ACLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience required
  • Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
  • Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

  • Provides direct nursing care in the OR according to established policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Serves as primary coordinator across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
  • Implements and monitors patient care plans, documenting and communicating patient condition
  • Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs with the healthcare team
  • Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Follows standard precautions and uses personal protective equipment as required
  • Radius rules apply, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
