Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Circulating OR position requiring a MI RN license and 2+ years of OR experience across multiple surgical specialties.
Details
- Work in a 7-suite Surgical Department offering a full spectrum of general and gynecological surgical specialties, excluding open-heart surgery
- Days shift, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
- Rotating weekend, holiday, and on-call requirements
- Uses Paragon EMR
- Hospital-provided scrubs
Requirements
- Active MI RN license required at time of consideration (compact license not accepted)
- BLS certification (AHA)
- 2+ years of OR experience required
- Must be able to circulate
- Experience required with Ortho, General, GYN, Urology, and Neuro cases
- Skills checklist completed within one year of application required
- Trauma Level II experience preferred
Additional Information
- Deliver quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain professional nursing practice standards
- Follow medical center policies, mission, and professional/regulatory practice standards
- References are not required for consideration
- No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
- Candidates residing within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers subject to reduced travel rates
- Full-time McLaren employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment
