Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Operating Room (Circulate) for a Days position requiring MI licensure and hip, joint, and knee surgical experience.
Details
- Work in the Operating Room department performing circulating nursing duties
- High-volume surgical services unit performing over 8,000 surgical and endoscopy procedures annually across a full spectrum of specialties, including general elective and critical/life-saving procedures
- Day shift schedule consisting of two 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM-3:30 PM) and two 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM-7:30 PM) per week
- On-call requirement of three 12-hour call shifts (7:00 PM-7:00 AM) within a 28-day schedule
Requirements
- Active MI RN license required at time of submission
- Compact licenses not accepted
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of RN OR experience required
- Experience with hip, joint, and knee surgical procedures required
- Travel nursing experience preferred
Additional Information
- Collaborate with certified anesthesiologists, surgeons, and OR technicians to monitor patients and ensure safety throughout surgical procedures
- Facility utilizes advanced surgical techniques and tools to enhance patient outcomes
- Local candidates within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers
- No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
