Travel Ophthalmic Technician

Location: 200 N. Robertson Blvd, Suite 303, Beverly Hills, CA 90211
Contract Length: 13 Weeks with possible extension
Start Date: August 17, 2026
Pay Rate: Up to $1700 weekly gross (Travler) 
Schedule: Days | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

We're seeking an experienced Travel Ophthalmic Technician in Beverly Hills, California. This 13-week assignment offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, multi-provider outpatient ophthalmology practice using advanced diagnostic technology while delivering exceptional patient care.

First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare exam rooms and patients for ophthalmology appointments.
  • Obtain and document medical histories, medications, and allergies.
  • Measure and record visual acuity, color vision, and intraocular pressure.
  • Perform diagnostic testing including:
    • Auto-refraction
    • Corneal topography
    • Visual field testing
    • OCT and fundus photography
    • Keratometry
    • Ocular motility testing
    • A-Scans and Schirmer testing
  • Perform applanation tonometry and other ophthalmic diagnostic procedures.
  • Administer dilating eye drops as directed by the provider.
  • Assist ophthalmologists during examinations and office procedures.
  • Educate patients regarding eye medications and post-procedure care.
  • Maintain equipment, sterilize instruments, stock supplies, and document accurately in Epic.
Schedule
  • Monday–Friday
  • 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Rotating 1–2 Saturday mornings per month (8:00 AM–12:00 PM)
  • No on-call requirements
  • No floating required
