Job Summary:
The Certified First Surgical Assistant (Specialty) position is located in the Salt Lake City area. This role involves supporting surgical procedures within a cardiac unit, requiring hands-on assistance and adherence to hospital policies. The position offers an opportunity to work in a busy surgical environment with a skilled team.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA or CFA); at least 2 years First Assist experience; must be comfortable working in the main operating room; experience with procedures such as general surgery, urology, gynecology, spine, neuro, orthopedic, robotics, and vascular surgery.
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with additional experience in specialized procedures or certifications will be considered first.
• Additional Information: The role requires working weekends and on-call shifts, with on-call duties approximately 4-5 times per month. The position is for one (1) opening, starting on 10/19/2026 and ending on 01/18/2027.
