Job Summary:
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) in Anchorage, Alaska. This position involves providing specialized surgical support within the operating room environment. The role requires working in a fast-paced setting with a focus on orthopedic, neuro, and robotic procedures, including total joint arthroplasties and spine surgeries.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts, three days per week, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The start date is 09/07/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, 3 years of experience in orthopedic, neuro, robotics, and spine procedures, including total joint arthroplasty and multi-level spine fusions.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Da Vinci Xi Robotic surgical systems, total joint replacement surgeries, neuro and spine procedures, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
  • Additional Information: The role is based at a facility with 11 operating rooms, utilizing a variety of surgical equipment and electronic medical records (EMR) in Epic. On call is required, with an expectation of about 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift every 8 weeks. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to handle complex surgical cases and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
