Job Summary:
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) position located at a healthcare facility within a 50-mile radius. This role involves assisting with C-section procedures in a Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit, including both planned and emergent cases, with an average of 3-4 cases daily. The position requires a committed, resilient professional capable of managing change and providing support across multiple clinical tasks. The shift is scheduled for nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, spanning from 09/28/2026 to 12/26/2026.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High School Diploma; knowledge of surgical standards and practices normally acquired through graduation from a surgical technologist program; Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) certification with NBSTSA or NCCT accepted; BLS certification; minimum of 0 years of experience; experience in OB setting preferred but not required, willing to accept first-time travelers with 2 years' experience; valid CST license required; knowledge of EPIC charting system; experience assisting with C-section cases, including emergent and planned, and supporting vaginal deliveries; ability to perform C.N.A. duties such as vital signs and baby baths, assist with circumcision procedures, and support transport to OR.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in OB, C-Section, and C.N.A. support; familiarity with Jada system for hemorrhage management; social candidates who are hard workers, resilient, and adaptable to change.
• Additional Information: The role involves assisting with transport, supporting multiple clinical tasks, and working in a unit with a dedicated team. The position may include occasional on-call during low census hours, especially during holidays. The employer provides teal scrubs, and the contract is for 13 weeks. Holiday blackout dates include Christmas and New Years.
