Job Summary:
This position is for a Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician specializing in vascular and general surgery procedures, located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The role requires proficiency in robotic surgical systems such as Mako Rosa and DaVinci Xi, with a strong emphasis on vascular surgical experience. The technician will support surgical cases, prepare the operating room, and ensure team readiness for upcoming procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 36 months of current/recent surgical tech experience, vascular surgical experience, general surgery experience, proficient with Mako Rosa robotics, strong DaVinci robotics experience, NBSTSA certification, BLS certification, valid drivers license, at least one completed travel contract within the past 12 months.
- Preferred Qualifications: Orthopedic/Orthopedic including Total Joints experience.
- Additional Information:
- Call schedule includes one night per week and one weekend per month.
- Call back pay at 1.5x with a 2-hour minimum.
- Overtime is billable after 48 hours per week.
- Orientation dates are scheduled for 08/31, 09/08, and 09/14, 2026.
- Equipment includes DaVinci Xi, Mako, Rosa.
- This role is open to candidates with vascular and general surgery expertise, with no first-time travelers and valid clinical certifications required.
