Job Summary:
Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician in a facility located in the area between Burbank and Pasadena. This position involves assisting the surgical team in preparation for procedures within the operating room, maintaining a sterile environment, and passing instruments and supplies during surgeries. The role supports a variety of surgical specialties to ensure smooth and safe operative experiences.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour days, shift time from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: High School Education or GED; Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Associates or Technical Degree; scrub technician experience; operating room experience and/or training course; Surgery Technician certification; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
- Essential Functions: Prepare for surgical cases by checking supplies and equipment; assemble sterile fields; review inventory; set up operative instrumentation; perform instrument, sponge, needle, and blade counts with the Registered Nurse; maintain aseptic technique; clean equipment and facilities; transport patients; perform clerical duties; label solutions; perform housekeeping duties as requested; perform other related duties as assigned.
- Additional Information: Role requires proficiency in multiple specialties including total joint/trauma, neuro spine, vascular, and robotics. The assignment begins 09/28/2026 and ends 11/22/2026, with the potential for scheduled shifts to support continuous patient care.
