Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 5+ years of OR experience at a Level 1 trauma academic medical center.

Details

• Work in the 6K Operating Room unit of a Level 1 trauma academic medical center
• Scrub/circulate role, with circulate-only candidates also accepted
• 10-hour day shift schedule, 0630-1700, 40 hours per week
• Day shift staff must be well-rounded across ortho (joint and trauma), neuro (crani and spine), plastics/burn, gen/trauma, colorectal, surgical oncology, gyn, gyn oncology, urology, robotics, CV, thoracic, vascular, and transplant service lines
• Off-shift staff (evenings, nights, weekends) must cover all service lines including pediatrics and eyes
• No floating or charge responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• 5+ years of Operating Room nursing experience preferred
• Level 1 trauma and academic medical center experience required
• Surgery center experience does not count toward required years of experience

• Perform scrub and/or circulate duties in a high-acuity academic medical center OR setting
• Supports a wide range of surgical specialties depending on shift assignment
• First-time travelers not accepted for this position
