Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring Level 1 trauma and academic medical center experience.

Details

• Works in the Operating Room unit of a Level 1 trauma academic medical center
• Scrub/circulate role, with circulate-only applicants also accepted
• 12-hour rotating evening/night shift schedule, 1430-0300, 36 hours per week
• No on-call or charge responsibilities required
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license
• 5+ years of Operating Room experience preferred
• Level 1 trauma and academic medical center experience required
• Surgery center experience does not count toward required years of experience
• Experience across multiple surgical service lines including ortho (joint and trauma), neuro (crani and spine), plastics/burn, gen/trauma, colorectal, surgical oncology, gyn, gyn oncology, urology, robotics, CV, thoracic, vascular, and transplant
• Off-shift (evening/night/weekend) applicants should have experience across all service lines, including pediatrics and eyes

• Day shift applicants should be well-rounded across major surgical specialties to support hospital-wide OR needs
• Evening/night/weekend applicants should be prepared to support all service lines, including pediatric and eye surgeries
