Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a day shift contract requiring IL licensure and circulating experience with Epic.

Details

  • Operating Room setting performing circulating duties
  • 10-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, 40 hours per week
  • 16-week contract assignment
  • On-call rotation required covering evenings, overnights, and weekends
  • Weekend shifts required only for call coverage
  • Holiday coverage required as needed
  • Floating is unlikely

Requirements

  • Active IL RN license required
  • Current BLS certification required (American Heart or American Red Cross accepted)
  • Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
  • Robot, ortho, and spine experience preferred
  • Scrub experience preferred
  • Epic EMR experience required and must be reflected in employment history
  • New graduates will not be considered
  • Two current supervisor/manager/charge references from the applicable clinical area within the last year required, with at least one travel reference preferred

Additional Information

  • Perform circulating duties in the operating room
  • Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
  • Returning permanent or per diem staff must have been away for at least 12 months to be considered as a traveler
  • RTO limited to a maximum of 7 days for this 16-week contract
  • Candidates will participate in a brief onsite interview with the facility prior to placement
