Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care OR experience, BLS and ACLS certification, and a CO or compact RN license.
Details
- Operating Room unit with 8 ORs and a staff of 25
- Day shift team includes Charge RN, RNs, CSTs, and Anesthesia staff, with hours of operation 7am-5:30pm
- Night shift covered by an on-call team
- 1:1 patient ratios
- Utilizes a full range of OR equipment, including a Belmont rapid infusion system
- Uses Meditech EMR
- Shift scheduled 7am-7pm
- On-call required with a 30-minute response time, rotating between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd call across weekdays and weekends over an 8-week period
Requirements
- Active RN license (Standard or Compact) for Colorado currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital experience required
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- Experience in transplant and spine procedures preferred
- Ability to function across multiple surgical service lines preferred
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Perform surgical nursing care across a variety of specialties including Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Spine, General, GYN, Endoscopy, Plastics, and Cardiac procedures
- Supported by experienced service line leaders
- Strong teamwork with providers and staff is valued, along with a patient care-focused approach
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered; no local candidates accepted
