Clinical Nurse, Operating Room: The Clinical Nurse provides evidence-based, hands-on nursing care while assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes. The role coordinates care with patients, families, and the healthcare team while supporting patient education, safety, professional development, and family-centered care.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Current California Registered Nurse (CA-RN) license; current American Heart Association certification for Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers; effective English communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include performing the nursing process; interpreting assessment data; developing and evaluating individualized care plans; safely implementing nursing and medical interventions; identifying and responding to emergency situations; educating patients, families, and staff; coordinating care; maintaining patient and employee safety; supporting continuous improvement; and contributing to professional practice, teamwork, and clinical knowledge development.
