Job Summary
A healthcare organization is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) in the en_US area. The role involves circulating and potentially scrubbing for complex neuro, spine, and orthopedic surgeries, with a focus on independence and experience in special procedures such as DiVinci robotic cases. The position requires flexibility with shift times and availability for on-call weekend rotations.
Job Details
- Position: Operating Room RN Must be experienced in circulating and the following surgeries: ortho, spine, and neuro (checklist should indicate performs INDEPENDENTLY). 4-5 years OR RN or combined OR experience. SCRUB EXPERIENCE IS HIGHLY PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED.
- Shift: Variable hours based on need - 7a, 9:30a, 1p with on-call, rotating weekends, and holidays. No Block Scheduling. On call is at least 1 weekend per month. 30 min report time.
- Schedule: 10 hours shift, 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: 4-5 years OR RN or combined OR experience, circulating experience, ability to scrub, strong neuro, spine, ortho skills, knowledge of DiVinci robotic procedures, and flexibility with schedule and on-call requirements.
- Additional Information: Must have the ability to perform independently in surgeries listed. Qualifications include certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Candidates can accept Covid medical/religious exemptions. Time off requests should be approved prior to confirmation.
- Submission: IVS to review, manager to interview and make offers. Mandatory overtime may be required during the assignment. The organization may float or reassign personnel within 30 miles of the original facility, within clinical competence.
