Job Summary

Operating Room (OR) Nurse position located in a comprehensive healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care within a busy surgical environment. The candidate will be responsible for supporting trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.

Job Details

• Shift Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• End Date: 04/19/2027
• Required Qualifications: At least 3 years of OR experience, trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedic surgical experience, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, current licensed registered nurse in the applicable state, valid compact license if applicable
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma and neuro cases, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system experience
• Float: Float rotation may be required; candidates should be flexible to float between similar units as needed
• Additional Information: Candidate must be willing to work on-call, with call duties distributed every 6 weeks, including up to 6-8 shifts in that period. Must be able to commit to working at least 3 of the 5 major holidays. Candidate responses regarding previous work at a similar facility and references covering the last 3 years are required at submission. No facility name or specific employer references are included as per guidelines.
