Job Summary:
The Operating Room (OR) nurse position located in Maine involves delivering safe, effective, and patient-family centered care throughout the perioperative period. This role requires proficiency in scrub, circulating, and recovery room procedures. The candidate must possess strong communication skills and uphold confidentiality standards. The position offers a full-time schedule with four 10-hour night shifts per week.

  • Required Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; valid registered nurse licensure in Maine; Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification; at least 1 year of medical/surgical or perioperative experience; basic computer skills. For perioperative care, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification is required for full-time/part-time employees (may obtain within 6 months of hire).
  • Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification is preferred.
