Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse located in the area. This position involves providing surgical nursing care across a variety of procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role requires flexibility to float between main operating rooms and outpatient surgery centers, and may include call responsibilities during nights, weekends, and holidays.
Job Details
- Position: OR RN Surgery
- Certifications: ACLS (preferred), BCLS
- Education & Experience: 2 years of surgical experience required; 3 years preferred with knowledge of procedures outlined in the unit description
- Location: Local radius within 50 miles of the healthcare facility
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 11/03/2026 and ending 02/02/2027
- Additional Qualifications: Experience with surgical procedures including abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, hysterectomy, blood and blood product administration, robotic surgery (Da Vinci Xi Surgical System), and a variety of general, orthopedic, and specialty surgeries is preferred
- Responsibilities: Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care, assist in surgeries, and ensure adherence to safety protocols and clinical standards. May be required to float between main OR and outpatient surgery center.
- Submittal Requirements: Candidates must include responses regarding prior employment at a Providence facility, with references covering 1 year within the last 3 years.
