Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care in the operating room setting. Responsibilities include assisting with orthopedic surgeries such as total joint procedures (hips, knees, and shoulders) and orthopedic spine cases, ensuring patient safety, and supporting surgical teams for a high volume of cases.

Job Details

Certifications: BLS (must be American Heart Association accredited) required; CNOR preferred.
Education and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room environment required; must be able to start IVs.
Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. No weekends, no call, no holidays.
Clinical Responsibilities: Must be able to scrub orthopedic surgeries including total joint procedures and spine cases.
EMR: Epic system used.
Scrubs Provided: Maroon.
Orientation: One-week floor orientation.
Additional Information: Cases per day range from 40 to 60, with no cancellation policy beyond standard hospital allowances.
Submission Requirements: Candidates should be available to start on 10/12/2026, with the assignment ending on 02/08/2027.
