Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) nurse position located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing advanced perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures, including a wide range of open and endoscopic surgeries. The position requires flexibility to float to other facilities within the organization and adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Certifications and Education Requirements: Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of OR experience, previous travel assignment, scrub and circulate skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification, ACLS certification.
- Experience in handling Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS) and Craniotomy procedures, Open and endoscopic surgical cases, Free flap reconstructive procedures, and combined Neurosurgery/OR procedures.
- Operational knowledge of robotic surgery systems and high-complexity surgical procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with interdisciplinary teams.
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, start date of 10/06/2026, end date of 01/05/2027.
- Additional Information: Floating to other facilities may be required; orientation hours are 40.
