Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Operating Room. The position supports adult and geriatric surgical patients in a fast-paced operating room environment. Responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating for open, endoscopic, laparoscopic, robotic, and complex surgical procedures.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse license in hand; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of 3 years of operating room experience; previous travel assignment experience; previous charge experience; teaching hospital experience; experience scrubbing and circulating; required charting system experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Schedule: Day shift; 8-hour shifts; minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The role supports otolaryngology and head and neck surgery, craniotomy, oral and maxillofacial surgery, plastic surgery, dental surgery, combined neurosurgery and otolaryngology procedures, open and endoscopic surgical cases, and free-flap reconstructive procedures. Additional case exposure includes laparoscopic, robotic, open abdominal, and cystoscopy procedures. Electronic charting is completed using Epic.
