Job Summary:
The Operating Room Surgery Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a day shift position based in Madison, WI. The role involves supporting a multispecialty surgical team by managing the operating room and circulating during procedures. The ideal candidate will have inpatient or ambulatory operating room experience and hold a valid Registered Nurse license. This position offers an opportunity to work in a Magnet-designated, leading hospital that emphasizes patient care excellence.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day/Evening, 10-hour shifts, Monday - Friday, 0640 - 1710. No weekends, no holidays. Rotating day off each week. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: WI Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact RN license, 2 years of recent acute care inpatient RN experience within the last 3 years in the specialty. BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred Qualifications: Circulating experience in an Operating Room (OR), trauma level experience (if applicable), proficiency with Epic charting system, and previous experience in surgical centers or inpatient settings.
• Additional Information: Inpatient RN travelers must have two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years, with successful passing of required telemetry examinations. The role involves working with multispecialty procedures, clinical responsibilities in operating room management, and circulating as part of a surgical team. Travelers are required to float as needed. Position start date is 10/12/2026, with an end date of 01/11/2027.
