Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Boise, Idaho
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,350–$2,470
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: September 27, 2026
- End Date: December 26, 2026
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
- Regular Shift: 6:45 a.m.–5:15 p.m.
- Call Requirements: One to two stay-late call shifts per week from 5:15–7:15 p.m.; one to three 12-hour call shifts per six-week period; weekend and holiday call coverage may be scheduled for either 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
Operating Room Registered Nurse Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Idaho
- At least 1 year of recent operating room nursing or perioperative nursing experience
- Operating Room certification or demonstrated perioperative nursing competency
- Experience providing safe, efficient care throughout the surgical experience
- Ability to meet required facility onboarding, competency, and credentialing requirements
- Strong communication, organization, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
Operating Room Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Prepare operating rooms, surgical equipment, supplies, and instrumentation according to procedure requirements
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and the broader perioperative team
- Maintain strict standards for aseptic technique, infection prevention, patient safety, and surgical counts
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes throughout the perioperative process
- Document patient care accurately and support efficient operating room turnover between procedures
- Participate in scheduled stay-late, weekend, holiday, and extended call coverage
