Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves delivering high-quality intra-operative patient care, including circulating procedures, instrumentation, and assisting surgeons and anesthesia providers across a variety of surgical specialties such as ENT, General, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Dental/Oral surgery, Pain Management, Ophthalmology, Urology, OB/Gynecology including C-sections, Vascular, and Bariatric. The position requires excellent interaction with surgical patients and team members to ensure safety and successful surgical outcomes.

Job Details

  • Position Description: Provides intra-operative nursing care via assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, coordinating effectively with the healthcare team. Primary duties include circulating procedures, instrumentation, assisting surgeons and anesthesia providers, patient education, and resource nursing.
  • Required Qualifications: Active nursing license, current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or higher, and at least 0 years of experience in the operating room. Previous Epic electronic health record experience required.
  • Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week. The assignment begins on 12/07/2026 and ends on 03/07/2027.
  • Additional Information: The role includes approximately 70-80 hours of call coverage in a four-week period, with a response time of 30 minutes.
