Job Details
- Location: West Virginia
- Certifications/Qualifications: ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association); minimum of 3 years of OR experience required
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, four 10-hour shifts per week, with weekday shifts from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, including call shifts during weekday nights and weekends; minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Operating Room (OR) specialty, valid license to submit, experience requirement: 3 years
- Additional Information: Candidates should have experience with total joint procedures, scopes, and outpatient surgeries. Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory if strong OR background exists. The unit handles diverse cases such as orthopedic, general, ENT, urology, and plastics surgeries. The department is very traveler friendly and focused on team dependability.
- Certifications required for all candidates: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
- Scrubbing: RN's required to scrub in during surgeries.
- Shifts: Staff work four 10-hour shifts per week, with weekend rotation and call responsibilities. Response time for call is 30 minutes, and call shifts are scheduled 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays or 24 hours on weekends.
