Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) nurse position in a healthcare facility. The role involves supporting a surgical department with a focus on general surgery, orthopedics, robotics, and gastrointestinal procedures. The position requires collaborating with the surgical team to ensure smooth operations, managing pre- and post-operative processes, and maintaining high standards of patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 06:30 AM to 06:30 PM, totaling 8 hours per shift with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association) certifications; minimum of 3 years of operating room experience; experience or skills in general surgery, orthopedics, robotics, stomach and intestines surgeries preferred; must have prior travel experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Ability to teach eye surgery and scrub assistance; experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
- Float: Occasionally, the role may require floating to emergency department, medical-surgical units, or long-term care facilities, depending on workload and candidate comfort level.
- Additional Information: Candidates should note if they have previously worked for Marshfield, with an end date at least 6 months prior to submission. All clinicians are required to clock in and out at the facility.
