Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in the healthcare provider's main OR located in Columbia, MD. This role involves providing surgical nursing care in a high-volume OR environment, supporting multiple surgical procedures, and working a daytime schedule.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: RN licensure with at least 3 years of recent OR experience, BLS certification, and current operating room experience are required.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include acting as a circulator and scrub nurse during surgeries, and supporting a variety of surgical procedures.
- Additional Requirements: BLS certification is mandatory. Float within skillset; no guaranteed hours.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must have prior employment experience with any Johns Hopkins health system facility and must be gone for at least one year if previously employed there.
